Covid 19: We are operating a reduced schedule: Dolphin Encounter Swim and Watch Tours are scheduled once daily at 8.30am until 30^th October and then twice daily through summer. 

We can schedule additional departures and private charters on demand for a minimum group size or minimum operating fare.  Likewise, we can schedule departures on demand for our New Coastal Encounter combo dolphin and albatross watching tour.  This special watch only tour travels our stunning coastline and will encounter some of the wildlife Kaikoura is famous for!  Contact Customer Service regarding any queries or for alternative tours or departure times.

We operate two tours, Dolphin Encounter and Albatross Encounter, please ensure you select the right product when booking.

• WHY CAN`T I SEE A DOLPHIN SWIM OPTION?
  Advance booking for swimming is essential in summer. If you do not see a swim option available to book online, this option will be SOLD OUT! Please contact us to join our waiting lists as this is not done automatically.

• DO SCHEDULED TOURS ALWAYS OPERATE?
  Whenever possible they do. Tour operation is subject to a number of factors beyond our control, including the weather, sea conditions and wildlife behaviour. All tours are also subject to having a minimum number of participants to go ahead. When any of these factors mean a tour cannot proceed a full refund will apply. We will give you our best advice on the status of these factors when you reconfirm your booking the day prior.
